Beauty

Emm says: We all have occasional dark under eye circles from lack of sleep, staying up too late, having one too many drinks, etc.

I have the unfortunate genetics of dark under eye circles ALL the time. :/

Tip <3 : Get your sleep! At least 8 hours :) insufficient rest and sleep drives blood to your eyes where your skin is much thinner. This results in the dark, under-eye shadows and circles that are so unattractive.

When sleeping, use a pillow to make sure that you sleep with your head slightly raised above the rest of your body. This helps to keep fluids from collecting in your face, which can lead to bags under your eyes when you wakeup in the morning.

Alright, Good Night Tumblr :) Wake up fresh

Psychology

The first person we think of in the morning, and the last one we think of at night, is either the source of happiness in our life, or the source of our pain.

Emm says: &Right now he’s the source of my happiness <3

Yes, &I want to chase my dreams of becoming a beauty guru, life coach in psychology, and traveler. Ha Ha Ha for those that laugh, break me down, or simply don’t believe </3 You make me that much stronger.

A call for Mormon women to wear pants to church, begun this month by a small group of women, has stretched across the globe, but not before creating a backlash and even generating death threats.

“Wear Pants to Church,” an event on Sunday, was meant to draw attention to the role of women in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, using attire as a symbolic first salvo in a larger struggle over gender inequalities.

Though the Mormon Church has no official policy against women wearing pants to church, many say they feel peer pressure to wear a dress, particularly in the Western United States, organizers said. So on Sunday, thousands of Mormon women arrived at church in pants in places like Cambridge, England; Heidelberg, Germany; Austin, Tex.; the Marshall Islands; and Kotzebue, Alaska.

A number of the women posted their photos on Facebook and other Web sites. Others said they could not participate because they were fearful of ridicule or reprimand. A Google map, begun so women could show they participated, included posts like this one, from Kari White, in Sheboygan, Wis.: “felt free to be an authentic me for the first time in my nearly 5 years of membership in the church.”

Joanna Brooks, a professor at San Diego State University and the author of “The Book of Mormon Girl: A Memoir of an American Faith,” called it “the largest concerted Mormon feminist effort in history.”

It just shows that regardless of religion, gender equality becomes a big deal in the lives of women everywhere. :)

I haven’t updated my tumblr in so long. :( But I wanted to blog about my Spa date with my baby. It went really well :) We went to Sanctuary Spa, for a couple’s massage, it came with a cozy L.E.D. tub so we could soak in together, and cheesecake refreshments. Best experience, and way to spend December 21st, 2012 ever. <3

Anderson fucking Cooper, everyone.
Some journalists like to be strictly observers. they don’t intervene, they don’t participate. they just document what they see, even if what they see is terrible. But the way I see it, journalists don’t exist in a vacuum. They are human beings, living and working in a very human environment. And that humanity is essential in relating to their stories. When you lose your humanity, you lose any kind of journalistic integrity you have left.
